St. Raymond of Penyafort(1175-1275)

A Dominican and an expert in Canon Law. He was Pope Gregory IX’s confessor and was asked by him to organize all the decrees of the Popes and Councils. This collection was seen to be the best collection of Church law until Canon Law was extablished in 1917. Read more about him here.

    enjoy reading those saint profiles. HOW did you discover the Sisters since I think I saw that you did not come from Illinois?
    did I miss your story on another posting?

    Hello Jane,

    Thanks for the positive feedback on the recent posts. I found the Sisters on the Internet, started emailing, a few phone calls, a few visits, and here I am. The Holy Spirit definately uses modern technology to inspire us. It’s wonderful. 🙂
